‘The Cave’, the first domestic conceptual musical, critically contemplates contemporary society and puts it in the context of Plato's allegory of the cave. The unusual form was chosen for the language, and various and multidimensional narrative devices were used in order to cover the complex contradictions of the world in which we live from as wide a perspective as possible.
The musical ‘The Cave’ represents the central segment of the multi-media art project ‘All in All’, which is also a doctoral art project on the Multimedia Art Programme of the University of Arts in Belgrade.
The project was created as a co-production cooperation between the two cultural institutions, the Belgrade Festivals Centre (CEBEF) and the Institution of Culture ‘Vuk Stefanović Karadžić’, supported by the Organization for Collective Administration of Performers' Rights and the Serbian Music Authors Organization (SOKOJ).
