At the delight of the true fashion devotees, on Friday, 24 June, at 8.30 pm, our world renowned fashion designer, Roksanda Ilinčić, will present a fashion show at the White palace. This unique event will mark the 25th anniversary of the Click Fashion Studio.
Organised by the Click Fashion Studio and the Foundation of Her Royal Highness Princess Katarina, with support from the City Assembly of Belgrade, Roksanda Ilinčić will present her Fall/Winter 2016/17 collection. The entire revenue of the show will be donated to the will be used for children suffering from cancer and for the palliative care unit.

June will be marked by fashion and fashion jubilees. The oldest Serbian fashion agency, Click Fashion Studio, marks 25 years of work with various events.
It has been 13 years since Roksanda had her last Belgrade show at the 14th Belgrade Fashion Week (in 2003). Ever since, her fans have been following her every step, her success in the British and international fashion circles. Roksanda Ilinčić’s imaginative creations have mesmerised many stars all over the world, so the garments with her label have become a frequent choice of many actresses, singers, First ladies and modern princesses for various ceremonies and red carpet events. The designer prefers, however, to stress that she dresses strong and powerful women, not celebrities.
It is a curiosity of a kind that Belgrade audience will have an opportunity to see Roksanda’s collection shown at the last London Fashion Week.
Inspired by the legendary film classic The Night Porter, as well as by the work of the famous photographer Deborah Turbeville, who transformed the once stereotypical photo shoots into avant-garde art, the designer has created sophisticated, dark and romantic silhouettes in the shades of burgundy wine, plum, turquoise, caramel… Silk, fur and rich suede have been transposed into lavish toilettes that take us back to forties and fifties.
Dresses are definitely Roksanda’s signature work. In an era of a complete misconception of femininity, while the aesthetics of a dress is entirely transformed, Roksanda Ilinčić creates a sophisticated and unpretentious glamour, defending the right to authenticity which fashion critics deem refreshing and unyielding.
