milos-branisavljevicMiloš Branisavljević was born on April 6th 1992 in Belgrade, Serbia. He started playing percussion when he was 12 years old in music school called “Petar Konjović” with teachers Siniša Jović and Dušan Vrbić. He continued studying percussion in High School “Stanković” with teachers Siniša Jović and Ivan Marjanović but also started playing drums. In his high school days he got to play variety of styles in different ensembles and bands. He won two Republic Competitions back home. He worked hard and thought that one day he may become a Berklee college of music student. And in Summer 2010 at Berklee five week program he got Full Tuition Scholarship for the school which made his dream possible. Currently he is Junior year at Berklee doing performance major for drum set but also playing Vibes and Classical Percussion, Arranging, Composing and Orchestrating. He got award for the “Most Active Drummer” at the school in Spring 2014.

ksenija-komljenovicKsenija Komljenović (1988) made her first steps of getting an education in music at the Stanković Music School, majoring in Piano Performance, Music Theory, and Percussion Performance.
She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Composition from the Music Academy of Belgrade under prof. Zoran Erić, while studying percussion with prof. Miroslav Karlović and prof. Srđan Palačković. During her undergraduate studies, she won a (what has proven to be a life-changing) scholarship and participated in the Forecast Exchange Program provided by World Learning.
Ksenija continued her education in the United States working as a graduate assistant and studying with Dr. David Collier. She obtained her Master of Music degree in Percussion Performance from Illinois State University in 2014. Fall 2015 is when she will commence her second year of doctoral studies at the University of Miami, while working as an assistant and studying under prof. Svetoslav Stoyanov and prof. Matthew Strauss.
Ksenija is a recipient of the American Association of University Women International Scholarship, as well as a two-time winner of the Philanthropic Educational Organization’s International Peace Scholarship. She is a public speaker, often communicating about the importance of education for the underprivileged. One of her favorite moments was her speech at TEDxYouth@ISB in 2011.
