MUSIC PERFORMANCE "DA i RE"

The musical performance DA i RE originates from the body percussion (BP) technique, in which the body is a rhythmic instrument. The two-member band Alice in WonderBand consist of Ana Vrbaški and Marko Dinjaški, who perform their own arrangements of Smak, the Beatles, Prince, old folk songs as well as their own songs. Each performance brings something new, and during interludes artists perform music and theater sketches with a lot of humor, with the same technique, using body as an instrument. Recently they have also created a children's repertoire with popular songs for the youngest.
Аna Vrbaški graduated from the primary music school in Novi Sad, Piano Department. She studied at the Faculty of Philosophy (Department of Philosophy) for three years. Vrbaški participated in all the activities of the multimedia group Аlice in Wonderband, as a performer, a coordinator and an organizer. She writes arrangements, composes and produces. Since 2014 she has been applying BP technique at workshops, both as a performer and as an instructor.
Мarko Dinjaški graduated from the primary school in Novi Sad, Violin Department, and secondary military music school in Sarajevo, Music Performer, Percussions and Violin Department. Since 2010 he has been holding workshops teaching BP technique, and since 2012 he has been intensely organizing workshops of BP technique for children with behavioural disorder as well as with children’s BP group Woodpeckers. Furthermore, he has been holding the workshop Body as an Instrument in Italy and Hungary and has been working with adult groups in Novi Sad, Subotica and Belgrade since 2016. Dinjaški participated in all the activities of Аlice in WonderBand as a performer, an organizer and a coordinator. He is one of the authors and performers of the Poetic Theatre at the Cultural Center of Novi Sad. He played in the bands Big Deal and Dobar Fazon from Novi Sad and recorded an album and performed at the Sziget Festival with the band Scientists. Dinjaški participated in the project Silencio by Boris Kovač.
