GET MARRIED RIGHT, play
Coproduction of the Academy 28 and the Center for Interactive Art ISPAD

The play Get Married Right is created in co-production of the Academy 28, and is a part of its regular repertoire, and ISPAD, Centre for Interactive Art. Nearly 30 associates, professionals, primarily young people from different fields were involved in the project implementation. Miloš Đorđević was awarded the highest prize Ćuran on the Days of Comedy in Jagodina for the role of Rubeola.
The play focuses on a wedding preparation, and different views on what a wedding ceremony should look like; however, a wedding must satisfy the requirement to be both traditional and modern. This event will expose different personalities, misconceptions, and expectations. Characters will make decisions, learn lessons, and will come to realize what can be achieved if we are driven by community and ideas.
Marija Lipkovski, theatre director, attained a Master’s degree from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts at the Department of Theatre Directing in Belgrade in 2015. After completing her graduation studies, she received a DAAD scholarship for artists and spent 2013 and 2014 in Berlin. She attended classes at the famous Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts (Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch), as well as at the National Theater School in Strasbourg. She is currently studying stage design at the University of Novi Sad.
In addition to artistic, she also does pedagogical work. She has conducted a series of theater workshops with children, teenagers and students.
